Who do we sell to?  We are wholesale and sell to the Trade only!  We sell to retail jewelers, jewelry wholesalers, jewelry manufacturers, insurance companies and auction houses.

How do we pay?  Immediately by cash or check.

How do you go about Selling something?  Simply give us a call or send us an e-mail with a general description of your merchandise. If your merchandise is something we can use we will set up an appointment.  Once we see your items we will give you an offer which is payable immediately. If you choose to decline we will give you a written offer valid for 30 days.  Please note we require photo id from the general public at time of purchase.

Once the offer for my merchandise expires can I still bring it back?  Yes, but please keep in mind we may change our offer or refuse purchase.

After selling my merchandise can I buy it back at a later date? Unfortunately you cannot because the nature of our business doesn’t allow it. Please be sure your ready to sell!

Do you sell your merchandise to the general public? Unfortunately you cannot because the nature of our business doesn’t allow it. We our wholesale and sell to the trade only!

Is there any cost of having you look at my merchandise? No, there is never a cost or obligation.

How do I get prices for items on your site? If you are engaged in the jewelry trade please click on guest register and enter your information. Once approved we will send you your user name and password.

What is meant by "Isolate Categories"? All of our jewelry is sorted into different categories such as "Rings or Bracelets, etc." Categories can also be applied such as "Contemporary or Antique as well as 14k Gold or Diamonds. When we add items to the website we tag items for every category which applies. So a piece may be tagged as 18k, Gold, Ring, Diamond and Emerald". If you use the search function you can therefore quickly view only pieces that fit the description you are seeking. A search will reveal only items which match all details being searched for. So if you include 18k Gold and Rings in your search you will see no 18k gold bracelets or Silver rings (unless a ring has been tagged as having silver and gold). To select multiple categories you must hold down the control key (Windows) or command key* (Mac) while selecting the items you are seeking in the search categories list (the scrollable list of ctageories on the right side of the search fields), then enter any other details you are seeking and click the "Go" button.

What is “Claiming” all about? If you are logged in as a dealer you may have noticed the "Claiming" feature which is an exclusive feature of the closeout exchange. Claiming allows our dealers to create a temporary hold on an item before they make a comiitment to purchase it. Different items may have different times on them known as the “Claim Delay”. A “Claim Delay” is the amount of time a claimed item will be held for you before the claim will be released to allow others to claim that item. Some items have longer claim delay than others.

If you're very interested in purchasing a claimed item, we suggest that you contact us as quickly as possible after claiming an item. The Closeout exchange reserves the right to release a claim at our discretion if another party wishes to make an immediate purchase of that item. We will diligently pursue a claim holder to give them an opportunity to purchase an item they have claimed but are not obliged to hold an item if another party is ready to make an immediate purchase. Likewise dealers are under NO obligation to purchase an item they have claimed. Dealers may only claim a limited number of items at any given time. The Closeout Exchange is committed to doing the very best we can to make sure our site always reflects currently available inventory and that sold items are either removed or marked as sold as quickly as possible. However, we offer NO GUARANTEE that items you see on the site are available as sone items can sell through our network before we are able to update the listings on the website. if you want to purchase something our suggestion is to claim it as soon as you can, then call or email to confirm it is available.
